Buyer's guide
The best Swapcard alternatives.
What to look for when you outgrow Swapcard — and where AgendaForge, the AI-native all-in-one, fits in.
A Swapcard alternative may mean one of two things: another full platform for registration, engagement, exhibitors, onsite access, and revenue analytics, or a focused tool for one workflow inside that stack. Swapcard’s current offering is broad, with mobile and web event experiences, AI networking and assistance, registration and payments, exhibitor and lead tools, content management, and analytics. AgendaForge fits only the focused category: it can run CFP, review, people records, and agenda authoring, but it does not replace Swapcard’s attendee app, paid ticketing, networking, virtual delivery, onsite access, or exhibitor lead systems. Decide whether you are replacing the platform or changing who owns the program before comparing vendors.
What to look for
Picking a Swapcard alternative, the smart way.
01
Choose platform replacement or workflow replacement
If registration, app, exhibitors, onsite, and analytics must move together, shortlist full event platforms. If the problem is CFP and program assembly, test a focused content system and keep the rest of the stack.
02
Map every participant journey
Test attendee, speaker, exhibitor, sponsor, and staff flows from registration through access, meetings, sessions, lead capture, and reporting. Do not assume one audience’s smooth path proves the others.
03
Evaluate AI by task and user
Swapcard documents participant assistants, recommendations, lead prioritization, and organizer automation. AgendaForge documents drafting, CFP analysis, people search, and scheduling. Compare grounded data, permissions, human review, and measurable outcomes.
04
Demonstrate the full CFP process
Use a real form, reviewer roster, rubric, and decision cycle. Verify anonymity, conflicts, assignments, rounds, scoring, communications, and how accepted content reaches the schedule and app.
05
Prototype the split-stack handoff
If content is managed separately, prove how sessions, speakers, rooms, tracks, permissions, and late changes reach the attendee platform. AgendaForge has APIs and feeds but no native Swapcard connector today.
The AI-native pick
Where AgendaForge fits.
Swapcard connects the attendee, exhibitor, registration, and revenue lifecycle; AgendaForge concentrates on CFP review, relationship records, and agenda authoring. Both apply AI to events, but to different documented tasks and within very different product boundaries.
Sources & method
This buyer's guide is written by the AgendaForge team and was reviewed July 2026 against public product information. We state where Swapcard is the stronger fit and recommend verifying current features before buying. “Not publicly documented” records a gap in the reviewed sources; it does not prove that a capability is absent.

When to stay on Swapcard
Swapcard is the stronger fit when the event depends on paid registration, a branded mobile and web app, virtual delivery, AI networking and session discovery, exhibitor portals, lead capture, hosted meetings, onsite access, and event-wide revenue analytics. It also supports registration paths for attendees, exhibitors, and speakers, with advanced workflows available through Launchpad. AgendaForge does not provide a native attendee app, matchmaking, virtual events, paid ticketing, onsite access, exhibitor lead retrieval, or Swapcard’s revenue and engagement analytics. It is invite-only and should be evaluated for the program workflow, not as a like-for-like replacement for Swapcard’s full platform.
