Automation integration

AgendaForge + Zapier

Use the live AgendaForge app on Zapier to connect your event data with 9,000+ apps.

AgendaForge is live on Zapier, so the events that happen inside your show — a new contact lands, a sponsor changes, a session is added — can fan out to the 9,000+ apps Zapier reaches. Start from the AgendaForge listing on Zapier, connect your AgendaForge account with an afk_live_ API key, then choose the trigger or action your workflow needs. The integration uses instant webhook-style triggers for contacts, sponsors, and sessions, plus actions that can write records back into AgendaForge, so a Zap can react to event activity or feed clean data into your directory. This is the public Zapier app now, not just a manual Webhooks by Zapier workaround, which means your team can find AgendaForge directly inside Zapier and build automations from the normal Zap editor.

Capabilities

What the Zapier integration does.

  • Connects AgendaForge to Zapier's 9,000+ apps through the live AgendaForge app, authenticated with an afk_live_ key you generate in your account.
  • Triggers Zaps on AgendaForge webhook events — new contact, sponsor, or session, plus the broader contact, sponsor, and session lifecycle — so activity in your event kicks off automations elsewhere.
  • Runs create actions so an upstream app — a form, CRM, spreadsheet, or Airtable base — can push contacts, sessions, or sponsors straight into AgendaForge.
  • Uses instant webhook-style triggers, so subscribed Zaps fire the moment an event happens instead of waiting for a polling interval.

Triggers

What fires, and what happens.

New contact

Fires a Zap when a contact — speaker, sponsor contact, submitter, or registrant — is added in AgendaForge, with the contact's fields in the payload for downstream steps.

Updated contact

Fires a Zap when a contact's details change — email, company, tags, status — so your CRM or spreadsheet stays in sync without anyone re-keying it.

Removed contact

Fires a Zap when a contact is removed from AgendaForge, letting you archive the record or clean it out of downstream tools automatically.

New sponsor

Fires a Zap when a sponsor record is created, so your finance, ops, or marketing tools pick up the new partner without anyone re-keying it.

Updated sponsor

Fires a Zap when a sponsor changes — tier, booth, or primary contact — so contracts, invoices, and partner trackers reflect the latest state.

Removed sponsor

Fires a Zap when a sponsor is removed, so downstream deal and fulfillment records can be closed out automatically.

New session

Fires a Zap when a session is added to the agenda, letting you mirror the program into a content calendar, sheet, or project tracker automatically.

Updated session

Fires a Zap when a session changes — time, room, track, or speakers — keeping run-of-show sheets and calendars current.

Removed session

Fires a Zap when a session is removed from the agenda, so calendars and trackers drop it without manual cleanup.

Setup

Connect it in minutes.

  1. Open the AgendaForge listing on Zapier

Open the listing and choose the app you want to pair with AgendaForge. From there, Zapier opens the normal Zap editor with AgendaForge available as a trigger or action app.

  2. Connect your AgendaForge account

Generate an afk_live_ API key in AgendaForge and paste it into Zapier when prompted. The key authenticates trigger subscriptions and create actions, so keep it private and rotate it if it is exposed.

  3. Pick a trigger or action and map fields

Trigger a Zap from AgendaForge contact, sponsor, or session events, or use an upstream app to create records in AgendaForge. Pull a trigger sample, map the fields, test the Zap, and turn it on.

Good to know

The AgendaForge app is live on Zapier, but it still authenticates with an afk_live_ API key rather than a full OAuth handshake. That keeps setup straightforward, but it also means your Zapier connection has the same access as that key, so generate it intentionally, store it carefully, and rotate it if a teammate leaves or the key is exposed.

Questions

Zapier, answered.

Q.01 Is there an official AgendaForge app in the Zapier marketplace?
Yes. AgendaForge is live on Zapier, where you can pair it with other apps and start building Zaps from the normal Zap editor. The connection still uses your afk_live_ AgendaForge API key for authentication.
Q.02 Which AgendaForge events can trigger a Zap?
Contact, sponsor, and session events can trigger Zaps, including created, updated, and removed lifecycle events. A subscribed Zap is notified when one fires, and trigger samples help you map fields before turning the workflow on.
Q.03 Can Zapier write data back into AgendaForge?
Yes. Zapier can push records into AgendaForge through create actions, including contacts, sessions, and sponsors. That means a form, CRM, spreadsheet, or other upstream tool can feed clean records into your event directory.
Q.04 What do I need to connect it?
You need a Zapier account and an afk_live_ API key from AgendaForge. Open the AgendaForge app on Zapier, connect your account with that key, choose a trigger or action, map fields from a sample, test the Zap, and turn it on.
